Cakes, you say?

So Ashley (my bridesmaid) is doing my cupcakes/cake for me...unfortunately she may not be able to make it to the actual wedding anymore which is just...sad. But it's ok, I understand. I'm glad she told me now. And she's still doing my cake! Here are my ideas...

I really like the "rosette" look. I'm doing ivory and deep midnight purple, though. Although I kinda like that lilac color that the cake in the picture is...

So...let's talk hairpieces...

So since I'm doing an enchanted forest fairytale wedding, I've opted out of a veil and instead chosen to wear a flower crown. Problem is...there are so many and I don't know which to choose...

I THINK I like the third one, but not sure...I've also decided on a hairstyle it'll be something like this...

but not pulled back in the same manner, or maybe like this...

One thing is certain...I'll definitely be needing extensions, haha.

Venue!!

So I finally chose a venue!! And the winner is...

Chose my dress!!!

Oddly enough, it was like, the first one I tried on, lol.

Centerpieces!!

So I have a couple ideas for centerpieces. I actually think I'll do both, just for some variety. One is a lantern with flowers, the other is a tree with tealights hanging from it...these are my inspirations...

Obligatory dress post.

So. I have to make one...the obligatory dress post.

I tried on about a million dresses and for the life of me, I can't figure out which one I want as THE dress. I always hear on that stupid "Say Yes to the Dress" show "oh, you'll put it on and you'll just know!" NO. NO YOU WON'T. And I wish they would stop saying that because then I'm like: WHAT IF THEY'RE RIGHT?! WHAT IF NONE OF THESE DRESSES ARE "THE ONE"??

Anyway...these are my favorites. It's going to be a bitch to narrow them down. Everyone really seems to like dress 1 a lot, and I do, too, but...dress 2 is so fabulous, and dress 3 is just...dress 3 is $700 and it's a very nice dress. The other ones are over $1,000, so it's hard to say no to a dress I do like that's so much less than those. But I dunno, you only get married once (hopefully) right?

So yeah...no clue. BUT on the upside, I am now between a dress size 4 and 6! Pants size 2 or 3 (depending on if we're talking in jrs sizes or not and depending on the brand. Yeah, I'm 25 and I shop juniors still, wanna fight about it?)

I really wish I knew how to work this stupid thing...

So originally I was going to use this site for a blog about my new home, but decided to go with wordpress for that instead.
